Betty Mae (Hart) Berry

Berry, Betty M. - It is with much sadness that we announce Betty's peaceful passing on May 26, 2019 at the age of 84 a longtime resident of Wayzata, MN, surrounded by her family, she fought a short but courageous battle with cancer.  She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Evelyn Knoblauch and son, Bryce Berry.

Betty was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, nana and friend.  Betty and George enjoyed golfing, traveling and family.  They hosted countless guests to their log home in Aitkin, MN where they watched their grandchildren grow and created lifetime memories for many dear friends and family.  During the winter months they resided in Bonita Springs, FL, where they also had numerous friends.  Betty is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, George; son, Jason (Jo Lynn) Berry; daughter, Elizabeth (Dan) Strand; grandchildren, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Ashley, Andrea (Ben) Horsch;  Crystal Grimmett, Nicholas Berry, Anthony Berry; sisters, Kathryn Knoblauch and Stephanie (Don) Wenzler; and many other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 1- 4 p.m. at Medina Golf and Country Club, 400 Evergreen Road, Medina, MN, with remarks at 2:30 p.m.  A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Methodist Hospital and Hospice.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Methodist Hospital Hospice Fund, 6500 Excelsior Boulevard, St. Louis Park, MN 55426.
