Haan, Clifton T. age 45 of Wayzata died July 30, 2018. Clifton worked as an estate manager around Lake Minnetonka with different families for many years. He was a jack of all trades in work and in life. Clifton was introduced to his wife Stephanie and married in 2002. They both wanted to start a family and had Andrew and Megan soon after. He was a loving and devoted husband, as well as a father. Always up for taking the family for an adventure, even if it ended with a midnight trip home. The family loved skiing and walking down to the neighborhood Ben & Jerry’s. Their favorite pastime was mapping different places and then biking to them. Clifton was a shy, quiet guy until you got to know him. He had a quiet strength about him, and that’s how he inherited the nickname gentle giant. Nothing will fill the hole Clifton has left behind in our hearts. He was a dear friend, brother, and family man to many. He touched so many lives in the short time he spent here with us and our gentle giant will be forever missed. Survived by wife, Stephanie; children, Andrew & Megan; parents, Dick and Karen; siblings, Gary & Gail; nieces and nephews. Memorial service 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 at Wayzata Free Church, 705 Highway 101 North, Plymouth with visitation one hour prior to service at church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
