Dorothy "Dot" Faith (Block) Dunn

Dorothy “Dot” Faith Dunn (nee Block) age 94, of Hopkins passed away peacefully on June 23, 2018.  Preceded in death by her German immigrant parents Clara and Leroy Block, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.  

Dorothy was a librarian at Hopkins Jr. High School, then retired and enjoyed the beaches of Florida in the winter and Minnesota in the summer for many years.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was always very involved in her church and committed to living her faith in Jesus Christ.  

Dorothy is survived by husband Clarence “Bud” of 75 years; daughter Sandy (Gary) Lostetter, son Greg (Julie) Dunn, 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; sister Joyce.  The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff at Brookdale Senior Living Minnetonka and Brookdale Hospice for the loving kindness shown to Dorothy while in their care.  

Funeral service will be Saturday, August 4th, 10:30 a.m. at Wayzata Free Church.  Visitation at 10:00 a.m. with luncheon and fellowship following service. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. To honor Dorothy and Bud’s appreciation for their efforts to share the name of Jesus, memorials will be designated and given to the Billy Graham Foundation.
