Liebrenz, Helen L. (Schaefer) of Plymouth. Born February 5, 1930 in Blue Earth, MN to Herman and Kate Schaefer. Closed her eyes for one last time, slipping out of the confusion, frustration and memory loss due to dementia which plagued her for many years and into God’s waiting arms and eternal peace on August 3, 2018. She graduated from Blue Earth High School and attended Westmar College in La Mars, IA for 2 years. On Oct 14, 1950 she married Darrell Liebrenz. She worked at General Mills for several years before starting a family. She was very involved with church activities and did volunteer work for several organizations. She was a member of the local garden club, and enjoyed baking. She always made sure that everyone else had what they needed before her wants and needs. She was gentle, kind and loving, a great wife, mother and friend to all she met. She was preceded in death by her parents and great-grandson, William. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Darrell; sons, David and Don; granddaughters, Danielle and Dana; great-granddaughter, Riley; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank all of the staff and personal care attendants at Sunrise Senior Living in Golden Valley for all of the great care they provided to Helen for the last 29 months. You made her last months comfortable and she was cared for with respect. Funeral service 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at North East United Methodist Church, 2510 Cleveland St. NE, Minneapolis with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Crystal.
