Cohen, Henry W. Age 97, of Minnetonka, died July 31, 2019. Graduated from Washburn High School and attended Harvard University for two years before enlisting in the U.S. Navy with deployments in Okinawa and Tokyo Bay. Graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School with honors (Alpha Omega Alpha), trained in Boston and Rochester, NY and spent many years in private practice as an internist at the Wayzata Medical Center. From 1975 he ran the Executive Health Program at the Park-Nicollet Clinic from which he retired in 1988. A nature lover, avid tennis player and stickler for grammar. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Linda; daughter, Laura Koller; sons, Andrew (Mary) Cohen and Will (Julie) Cohen; grandchildren, Katherine and Nicholas Koller, Madeleine and Gena Cohen, and Ella, Matthew, and Jonathan Cohen; sister, Dorothy (Morris) Levy; and nephews, Robert (Susan Larabee) Levy and Michael (Kerry Finn) Levy. A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held at 11:30AM on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Brookview (316 Brookview Parkway S., Golden Valley, MN 55426). Donations preferred to University of Minnesota Medical School (University of Minnesota Foundation, 200 Oak St. SE, Suite 500, Mpls, MN 55455-2010), Fred Wells Tennis and Education Center (100 Federal Drive S., Fort Snelling, MN 55111), or donor’s choice.
