Wildman, Joann Holliday, of Minnetonka passed away on July 16, 2019 at her daughter’s home in Orono. Joanie was born on Christmas Day, 1931, to Jack and Lenore Holliday. She grew up in Girard, PA and graduated high school in 1949 as salutatorian of her class. She was a proud member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at Allegheny College, and continued on to receive her Master’s Degree in Merchandising from the University of Pittsburgh. She was one of only a handful of women in her graduating class in 1954. After college, Joanie married Donald Wildman, and soon after moved to Minnetonka, where she resided for 62 years. While raising her three young children, Joanie went to work for Dayton-Hudson Corp. in 1970. She retired in 1999 as a buyer in cosmetics and fragrances for Target Corp. Her work ethic was fierce, and she was a trailblazer for women in merchandise management. She did it all with grace. Joanie is preceded in death by her mother and father, and sister-in-law, Emmy Holliday as well as too many of her dear friends. Beloved mother of Don Wildman Jr. of Chanhassen, Susan Dammen of Orono and Mark (Ann) Wildman of Lake Bluff, Illinois. Also survived by brother, Jack (Eileen) Holliday; sister, Debbie Holliday, and seven nieces and nephews that adored her. Joanie treasured and cherished each and every one of her many friends. She was a spitfire with a keen sense of humor. No one loved a gathering of family or friends more than she did.
