Madsen, Lillian B. age 92, of St. Louis Park, passed
away January 9, 2019. Preceded
in death by parents, Ellen and Albert,
two sisters, Louise and Lucille, two brothers, Lennart and Teddy Johnson and
husband, Maurice.
Lillian was a church organist for over
50 years, first at Zion Lutheran in Mpls.,
and most recently at Oak Knoll Lutheran
in Minnetonka. In addition to this, she
worked as a bookkeeper for Red Owl
and Supervalu. Her greatest joy was
spending time with her family, who
surrounded her at the time of her
passing.
Survived by children, Linda
Healy (Chuck), Steven Madsen,
Shari Kemp (Greg); grandchildren,
Charlie Healy, Andy Healy (Jenna),
Stephen Kemp, Danny Kemp
(Beth), Stephanie Schmit, Chelsea
Madsen, Krin Madsen; great-children,
Sean Schmit, Jamison Schmit,
Wesley Healy, Maxwell Healy.
Special thanks to the staff at
Park Health, a Villa Center, in
St. Louis Park for their loving care
of Lillian. She considered Park
Health her “home” for 17 months.
Memorial service 2:00 p.m. Monday, January
14, 2019 at Oak Knoll Lutheran
Church, 600 Hopkins Crossroad,
Minnetonka, with visitation one
hour prior to the service at church. Memorials
preferred to Oak Knoll Lutheran
Church or donor’s choice.
