Wothe, Mark A. age 49, of Saint Louis Park, formerly Wayzata passed away in his sleep January 7th, 2020
Mark was a much-loved son and brother, and adored as an uncle. His passions in music and political debate were the central themes in his life, as he was gifted with a phenomenal musical ability and a keen intellect with a razor-sharp sense of humor. Mark touched many lives through his music and the bands that he played in, and the world will miss his talent. As a kid, Mark was always entertaining people with songs he made up, jokes, stories he wrote, and funny pictures he drew. Also in his youth, he was active in sports, playing hockey, soccer, football, and skiing - always naturally good at anything he tried.
Mark’s career was varied and interesting, working many years in the family business, Environments, and most recently working for Tesla in Brooklyn Park, MN.
Mark is survived by parents, Roger and Barbara Wothe; brother and sister-in law, Scott and Laurie Wothe; niece and nephew, Chloe and Simon Wothe; and several dozen guitars. He will be missed by many friends, fans, and political argument opponents.
Memorial visitation 5-8 pm Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 East Wayzata Boulevard, Wayzata. Memorials preferred to the donor’s favorite charity.
