Shirley Marie Johnson (Lowe) 96, of Plymouth passed peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2019. Shirley was preceded in death by her first husband Walter Loboy who died in WWII, and her second husband of 67 years, Roy William Johnson; daughter, Linda J. Donnelly; son-in-law, Richard A. Donnelly; parents, William D. Lowe and Agnete Aagaard Lowe; and brother, Donald Lowe. She is survived by daughters, Diane Fredeen (Gordon) and Janet Wolter (Scott); grandchildren, Ryan Donnelly (Ryan Kincaid), Lindsay Ebeling (Erik), Grant Wolter (Sasha), and Amanda Wolter (fiance Brian Burman) and four great-grandchildren. Shirley was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and worked in various jobs such as clerical, optometry, and factory positions during and after WWII. Shirley and Roy raised their three daughters in Park Ridge, IL before being transferred to Minneapolis where they built their home in Eden Prairie. They became Vikings fans and later enjoyed their cabin near Garrison in their retirement years. Shirley enjoyed travel, gardening, cooking and reading, and their pets.
