Allan Nelson Obituary Nelson, Allan C. 1942-2023 Allan passed away following a long and determined struggle with the complications of Parkinsons Disease. He left this life with peace and dignity. On a beautiful Friday evening of December 29th, he went on to eternal life with his Heavenly Father. Allan was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy and brother, Dennis Nelson. He is survived by his daughters, Allison (Matt) Schwaller and Adrienne (Keith) Wikman; grandchildren, Kate and Jacob Schwaller and Danielle Wikman; sister, Kathleen (Ron) Colburn; brother, Craig Nelson and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 9:30 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2024 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 115 Wayzata Boulevard West, Wayzata. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Thursday at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 East Wayzata Boulevard, Wayzata and beginning at 9:00 a.m. at church on Friday. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to Struthers Parkinsons Center in Golden Valley or to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
