Allen Dale Obituary
Dale, Allen R. age 94, of Minnetonka passed away June 7, 2007. Preceded in death by parents, John and Lydia Dale; sisters, Luverne Anderson, Alice Noll, Gertrude Carlin; brothers, Clarence Dale and Harold Dale. Survived by loving wife of 74 years, Annabelle; sons, John (Marilyn) Dale, Big Lake, AK; Michael (Marcia) Dale, Long Lake, MN; grandchildren, Michael Dale, LuAnn Dale, John Dale, Christopher Dale, Jonathan Dale; four special great-grandchildren, Scott Dale, Sydney Dale, Magdalena Dale and Adrian Dale; brother-in law and sister-in-law, Melva and Elmer Sogard; sister- in-law, Mavis Anderson; and many dear nieces and nephews. Born in Renville, Minnesota; attended Hamline University, St. Paul, Minnesota; served in the U.S. Army, WWII; owned and operated Mound Electric until retirement in 1977. Member Zuhrah Shrine, Scottish Rite, Mound Masonic Lodge (Past Master) and the American Legion. Allen enjoyed flying, golf, travel (especially Mexico), winters in Tucson, Arizona and spending time with family and friends. Visitation Monday, June 11 from 5-7 pm with funeral service at 7 pm all at David Lee Funeral Home in Wayzata.
