Obituary

She passed away at home in Deephaven, MN in the arms of her husband of 42 years, early the morning of April 25 at the age of 84.

Barbara was born in Duluth and graduated from Edina High School in 1961. She attended the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis campus, where she earned Summa Cum Laude honors with a major in Psychology and a minor in Music. Her exceptional musical abilities were evident early in life, demonstrated through her classical training in Duluth as a child prodigy. Barbara's musical talent was a gift, and playing the piano remained a deep personal passion throughout her life.

Barbara joined NWA Airlines in the fall of 1961, where she worked for 40 years as an On-Board Supervisor and flight attendant, never losing her desire for travel. She loved her job, co-employees and excelled as a key customer service representative.

Barbara married George B. Webster, III 0n September 17, 1983, after a whirlwind courtship. She embraced his many outdoor passions and together, they traveled extensively while maintaining a close partnership. Whether skiing in the western mountains, fishing in Alaska, the countless cattle exhibitions, or hunting at his Waterfowl Lodge in Manitoba, Barbara took part with enthusiasm. Their mainland travel and cruise journeys took them all over the world - through Canada, Europe, the Baltic, Mediterranean regions, Australia, New Zealand, South America and numerous trips throughout Central America and the Caribbean.

Barbara was introduced to the Labrador breed after her marriage to George and quickly became a committed dog lover.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Merrill and Wilma (Billy) Pearson. Grateful to have shared her life are stepchildren, son George B. (Andrea) Webster, IV and Trisha Webster.

Barbara is survived by her brother, Don (Suzie) Pearson; sisters, Anne (Michael) Elmore and Mary Jo (George) Wilson; nieces, Ellie Elmore, Jenny Wilson Farley; nephews, Eric Elmore, Oszcar Siklos and Artur Siklos.

Barbara’s love and presence will be deeply missed - but always remembered by the many Webster Family members.

A private family graveside service will take place at Lakewood Cemetery on May 16, at 12 Noon.

Additionally, a Celebration of Life to be held at Hennepin Avenue Methodist Church - Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 11 AM
