Obituary

Barry Miller Obituary Miller, Barry John entered this world on January 3, 1969. He loved people and brought much joy to others in his 49 years of life. Barry was non-verbal but he had a lot to say in his own way. He taught us valuable lessons about finding joy in little things, patience, acceptance, friendship and the power of a simple smile. Barry lived with multiple disabilities, however his extraordinary abilities are what will be remembered by all of us who were blessed to be a part of his life. God had a plan for Barry on January 3, 1969 just as he did on August 30, 2018 when he called him home. Barry will be missed immensely by his parents, Beverly (Berry) Miller and Galen Miller; brothers, Nathan (Stephanie) and Ryan (Amanda); his niece and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; his housemates, Michael Rodgers, Barton Goldstein and Michael Ferry and numerous awesome friends. Barry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Irene (Bennewitz) and Lloyd Berry and Mary (Braun) and Hubert Miller; one aunt and two uncles. Our special thanks and heartfelt appreciation to the health care professionals who worked with Barry at Park Nicollet and Gillette and the Methodist Hospice Team who cared for Barry and our family with great compassion. Barrys life was enriched each day by the special care support and friendships of the dedicated staff at his ACR group home.
