Biography
Benjamin Philip Mischke, 32, of Minnetonka, MN entered his eternal rest in Christ on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Benjamin was born in Phoenix, AZ on September 2, 1984 to Pastor Philip and Nancy (Kluball) Mischke. He was baptized as an infant and confirmed as a youth in the Lutheran Church. Benjamin is survived by his parents, Pastor Philip and Nancy; sister, Sarah (Brandon Steffen) of Savage, MN; brother Samuel (Jessie) of St. Louis Park, MN; sister, Anna of St. Louis Park, MN; his godchildren, Sophia, Noah and Chloe Steffen of Savage, MN; and beloved rescue dog, Ranger. He is also survived by one grandmother and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A Christian Memorial Service will be held at 10AM Saturday, January 21, 2017, at King of Grace Lutheran Church, 6000 Duluth Street, Golden Valley, MN, with a visitation from 9AM until the time of the service. A private interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Carver, MN. The family extends gratitude to Dr Anthony Bottini, Dr. Drahomira Sencakova, Dr. Punit Wadhwa, Frauenshuh Cancer Center, and the Park Nicollet Home Hospice Program. We are thankful for the care Benjamin received through them during the past four years as he battled brain cancer.
