Obituary

Benjamin Ruedisili Obituary Benjamin Stephen Ruedisili, age 9, of Orono, Minnesota passed away tragically and unexpectedly on Monday, April 13 at Childrens Hospital of Minnesota. He was a lifelong resident of Minnesota, growing up surrounded by wonderful friends, neighbors and coaches in Orono. He attended Groves Academy in St. Louis Park where he flourished with a nurturing community of friends and teachers. His family is a beloved part of Wayzata Community Church where Ben was baptized and cherished by the entire community. Ben loved playing outdoors, fishing with family in Wisconsin, and sports of all kinds. Hisfavorite sport was hockey, which he played with passion and enthusiasm, and loved having his dad as one of his coaches. Bens mom was his constant advocate, helping him find his place in this world and ways to share the gifts God uniquely created in him. His biggest hero was his sister, Hanna Rose, with whom he loved to wrestle, build forts, do crafts and play family games. She remembers him with joy and affection. Ben was born on December 5, 2005 in Minneapolis, to Steve Ruedisili and Anne Harbison, of Orono, MN. Ben will be profoundly missed by grandparents, Jim & Carole Harbison; uncle and aunt, Brad Cumbow and Jamie Harbison, and cousins Ryder, Sawyer and Tanner Cumbow (all from Asheville, NC); grandparents, Lon & Susan Ruedisili (Ferryville, WI); uncle, aunt and cousin Robert, Heidi and Charlotte Ruedisili (Cannon Falls, MN), and great-grandfather, Donald Anderson (Madison, WI).
