Bernard 'Bernie' DeLaRosa Obituary DeLaRosa, Bernard William "Bernie" passed away peacefully after a strenuous and courageous battle with brain cancer, on December 9, 2023. He was a devoted husband to Cate (Condon) for 23 years. He was the loving father of daughter, Nicole and son, Anthony (Amanda, granddaughters Charlie and June) DeLaRosa. He was the beloved brother of Mark (Carol), Julia, and Thomas (Sharon) DeLaRosa. He was the cherished son of Mary and Julio DeLaRosa. He was a fun-loving and joyous Uncle to so many. And a trusted, giving, and loyal friend to even more. Bernie graduated from John Marshall High School in Rochester, MN, and thereafter from St. Johns University in Collegeville, MN. He was a highly respected financial advisor for over 37 years, and he and Cate together own two other businesses in the financial services industry. Those who know Bernie well, know he was dedicated and passionate about his work. In fact, it was his calling, with "meaningful work" being tied with "Family" for his top values. A funeral Mass to celebrate his amazing life will be held at St. Huberts Catholic Community, 8201 Main Street, Chanhassen, MN on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9:30 at church. Luncheon to follow Mass. His final resting place will be at the columbarium at St Johns, with the interment in the spring of 2024.
