Obituary

Betty Lindahl Obituary Age 85 of Plymouth, passed away February 1, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, Bertil and Ruth Olson; brother, Bertil; sister, Joan; and Betty's husband, John (Jack). Betty was a 1949 graduate of West High. She married in 1950 and lived most of her years in the Wayzata/Plymouth area. Betty was active at Wayzata Community Church for over 60 years. She was an avid reader, and involved with WCC Rummage Sale, Bible study, bridge club, golf league, skiing, many sewing and needlework projects, and was active in PEO. Betty is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Lawrence) Parkhurst; sons, Jack (Cathy) Lindahl, David (Jill) Lindahl, and Robert Lindahl; grandchildren, Jonathan (Karen) Parkhurst, Chris (Kristin) Lindahl, Melissa (Ben) Maas, Laura (RJ) Santos, Charlie (Lindsey) Parkhurst, Michelle Lindahl, Matthew Lindahl, Cassidy Lindahl, Charlee Lindahl; great grandchildren, Katherine, Liana, Julia, Alexa, and George; brothers, Paul (Marthann) Olson and Larry (Margaret) Olson; and many other family and friends. Memorial service will be on Monday, February 13 , 11 AM at Wayzata Community Church, 125 East Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata. Visitation Sunday, February 12, 3-6 PM at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 East Wayzata Blvd, in Wayzata. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Special thank you to the Methodist Hospital Hospice care team. Memorials preferred to Wayzata Community Church.
