Betty Sieloff Obituary Sieloff, Betty (nee Birgit Knutson) Long time resident of Wayzata, born March 13, 1911 at the homestead in Effie, MN and died October 1, 2006 at Mt. Olivet Careview Home in Minneapolis. She was the second of three children of Ben Knutson and Lena Birkeland (Bjorn Knutson Heistad and Liv Olsdotter Birkeland of Bygland, Norway). Married Marvin W. Sieloff on November 9, 1940 in Brainerd. Preceded in death by husband, parents, brother Knut Knutson, and sister Margaret Sorenson. Survived by sons William, and Ronald and wife Mary; grandchildren Paula and Miles, Ryan and Melissa and husband Alan Spaulding; great- granddaughter Autumn Spaulding. Faithful Christian steward and longtime member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Funeral service Friday 11 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 115 Wayzata Blvd. West, Wayzata, with visitation starting at 9:30 AM. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Redeemer Lutheran Church or Mt. Olivet Careview Home.
