Beverly Ornat Obituary Was born March 25th 1937. Beverly passed away peacefully with family at her side on October 8th, 2016. Graduated from Minnehaha Academy in 1954 and attended the U of M for her Funeral Director License in 1955 and worked for her father at family funeral home. Married in 1956 to Stanley F Ornat Jr and had three children, Scott, Mark and Jane. Members of Wayzata Evangelical Free Church since 1963. Beverly and family are thankful for the blessing of the extra years with her family after suffering near fatal injuries from an auto accident in 1995, resulting in brain surgery, coma and permanent disabilities. Preceded in death by parents, Clifford and Lela Peterson and brother, Clifford Peterson Jr. Survived by Stanley, her husband of 60 years, children Scott (Roxanne), Mark, and Jane (Rick); sister, Nancy (Jim) and brother, Gary (Karen); grandchildren, Emily, Natalie, Nathan, Laura and Kevin. Josiah and Marisa. Funeral service will be held Wednesday October 12th 1 PM at Wayzata Free Church 705 County Rd 101, Plymouth, MN 55447. Visitation 1 hour prior. Reception to follow in fellowship hall.
