The following is a message from Brad...
It won't surprise anyone that knows me to see that I wrote my own obituary. :)
First of all, I've loved Pat since I first met her when we were teenagers. She is the smartest, kindest, most caring and beautiful person I've met in my entire life. As everyone is fully aware, she fundamentally made me the truly luckiest person in the world.
Johnathon and Kristen have always been amazing people that I have respected very much. Their independence and desire to pursue whatever makes both them and the world around them happy has always been a joy to see. Their spouses Rachel and John are wonderful, as is amazing Jack, the son of Johnathon and Rachel.
My parents (Nila, Dave & Carolyn) have unquestionably loved me and filled my life with even more joy.
My siblings Brian and Cathy have been wonderful for me, as have all of Pats brothers and sisters. We've had an awesome time together over the years and I thank them all very much.
Each of my very close friends, colleagues and advisors were a joy to be around and I wish them all the very best.
My life has been a dream. Thanks to our wonderfully good luck, we were able to support an array of charities that were important to all of us. Thanks to a trust my dad worked hard to set up for me, I was able to make great investments in my last two employers that allowed me to protect my family, give funding to charities and have fun with my extended family all at the same time.
So there you go. Being a very lucky person obviously made my life a joy, and I wish the same for everyone elseespecially Pat, the first and only love of my entire life.
Brad
