Branislav Stankovsky Obituary Branislav Brano Stankovsky, age 56 of Long Lake, passed away on April 24, 2012. Survived by wife, Margret; children, Angie (Ross), Trevor (Pueng) and Molly; grandchildren Hayden, Decker and Ronin; mother, Zlatica; siblings, Oliver, Dagmar (Chet) and Mariana (Richard); beloved sister-in-law, Stuie; and many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his father Oliver. Brano was a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa, son, brother, uncle, coach, hockey player (he was drafted in 1975 by the Pittsburg Penguins), co-worker and friend. He was truly one-of-a-kind: an avid outdoorsman, a Chicago sports fanatic, consummate jokester, night owl, history buff, and an accountant. Brano influenced many people in his life, including numerous young women as the Blake girls varsity hockey coach from 1998 2012, friends and colleagues at Creative Health Care Management where was CFO for the last 20 years and owner for the last 12, and generations of children as Woodhills Santa Claus. He was also President of the Minnesota Girls Hockey Coaches Association, a member of the All-State Girls Hockey Team Selection Committee and a Board Member of The Stevens Square Foundation. Brano is our angel and we were blessed to have him in our lives. His memory and inspiration will live on through us forever.
