Brett Gamber Obituary Gamber, Brett B Age 56 of Excelsior, previously of Wayzata and Hamburg, passed away October 1, 2022. He is survived by his two beautiful daughters, Kaitlyn and Madelyn (Maddie), his proud parents, Brice and Carol, his loving brothers, Derek and Jason and his faithful dog, Jada. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and spent his early childhood in Fanwood/Scotch Plains, NJ. He attended Wayzata HS where he excelled in Football and Baseball. Brett formed lifelong friendships in Wayzata that supported him throughout his life. He attended University of Wisconsin and graduated from Augsburg. He spent his entire career in life insurance, starting his career in underwriting with Prudential, and spending much of his career as a Senior Underwriter most recently with John Hancock. Brett was eclectic. He was a prankster, an avid hunter and fisherman, a 70s and 80s music lover, a self-described food wizard on the grill, but most of all, he had the biggest heart in the world. He was always ready to give you the shirt off his back or be a supporting phone call for anyone in need. The love for his daughters was always at his core. They were his pride and joy and his reason for being. Memorial service 1:00 p.m. Saturday October 15th with visitation from 12-1 at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 East Wayzata Boulevard, Wayzata.
