He is survived by his former wife, Barbara (Hoff) Chrane of Dover, NH; his sons, Stephen Chrane and his wife Joan of Phippsburg, ME; Scott Chrane and his wife Raeann of Rochester, NH; and Thomas Chrane and his wife Kim of Dover, NH; and his daughters, Lauri Winter and her husband Dean of Newmarket, NH and Susan Lavoie and her husband Mark of Stratham, NH; seven grandchildren, numerous devoted friends and his beloved Golden Labrador, Murphy.
