Candace Koob Obituary On Saturday, August 27, Candace Rose Koob, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away unexpectedly at the age of 68. Candi was born August 29,1953 in El Paso, TX to John and Darlene (Brunner) Malmstedt. She was raised in Bloomington, MN and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1971. On April 19, 1980 she married Tom Koob. They settled in St Louis Park, MN and started their family. Candi was an avid pet lover and had a passion for gardening, bird watching, crafting, the North Shore and road trips with Tom. She became a grandmother in October 2019 and loved spending as much time with her grandson as possible. Candi was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Tom; her son, Adam (Kari) and their son, John; her daughter, Tessa (Elliott Sullivan); her brothers, Howard (Marian), Hugh, Al (Linda), and several cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at David Lee Funeral Home 1220 East Wayzata Boulevard in Wayzata on Friday September 2, 2022 from 3 - 6pm.
