Caryl Bjorklund Obituary Bjorklund, Caryl Grace God is our refuge and strength, was the life verse of Caryl Grace Bjorklund, who died on January 2, 2006 in Minneapolis. She was born to Selma and John Oscar Bjorklund in Henning, Minnesota on February 6, 1927. Caryl received her masters degree in Christian Education from Wheaton College and served as Christian Education Director at churches in Hawaii, Iowa and Indiana. She is survived by sisters, Maxine Slinden, LaVern Bjorklund and Eunice Hotek. She is pre-deceased by brothers, Oren and Roland Bjorklund and sister Muriel Turnquist. Her funeral service will be at 11 AM on Saturday, January 7, at Wayzata Evangelical Free Church, 705 Hwy 101, N, Plymouth, MN. Visitation is at 10 AM. Burial will be in Henning, MN.
