Charles Tullgren Obituary Tullgren, Charles Jon age 68 was born January 29, 1946. His battle with cancer ended on August 7, 2014. He was preceded in death by parents Lester and Hilda. Chuck was born and grew up in Stillwater, Minnesota. Upon graduation he served overseas in the U.S. Navy. He then studied tool and dye at Dunwoody Institute. At age 20 he began his life long career with Lake Region Manufacturing, and became a Manufacturing Engineer. After serving forty three years there, he retired at age 63 and enjoyed playing his guitar, collecting guns, and going to the cabin with his family. He loved to laugh and tell jokes, and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. We will miss you. He is survived by his loving wife Darlene; daughters, Heidi (John) of Boone, IA and Chelcy Wangen of Madison Lake, MN; grandchildren, Megan Taylor, Mirrka Taylor, Cierra Wangen, Cade Wangen, Kipp Wangen, and Nathan Wangen, many other relatives, as well as friends. Funeral service 11AM Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 East Wayzata Boulevard, Wayzata. Visitation Tuesday 5-7 PM and one hour prior to the service, all at the funeral home. Interment following at Oakland Cemetery, Hutchinson, Minnesota.
