Charles Wickman Obituary Wickman, Rev. Charles R. Age 80 of Minnetonka, died July 21. Charles is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Carl and Dianne Wickman of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin; daughter and son-in-law Kristin Wickman-Albrecht and Richard Albrecht of Round Lake, Illinois; daughter and son-in-law Margot Wickman-Bennett and Edward Bennett of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren Lauren and Erik Wickman of Oconomowoc and grandchildren Morgan and Erin Bennett of Omaha. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Mary L. Wickman, his sister Betsy Addison of Chicago, Illinois and his parents, Ruth and Carl Wickman of Escanaba, Michigan. Charles graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor s degree in electrical engineering and a masters degree in computer engineering. He worked as an electrical engineer for Honeywell in California and Minnesota until retiring in 1990. Charles had a life-long commitment to serving others through the Episcopal Church. Charles was ordained an Episcopal deacon in 1984. He served as a long-time deacon at St. Davids Episcopal Church in Minnetonka and as a deacon and in other capacities at several other churches and area nursing homes. Visitation Sunday July 28, 2013 5-8 p.m. at St. David's Episcopal Church, 13000 St. David Road, Minnetonka, and one hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral service Monday July 29 at 6:00 p.m. at St. David's Episcopal Church, with reception to follow afterward at the church.
