Obituary

Clarence Dunn Obituary Clarence George Dunn, Jr March 3, 1922 February 6, 2019 Clarence George Dunn, Jr, affectionately known as 'Bud' - peacefully passed away less than a month from his 97th birthday on February 6, 2019. He is with his beloved wife of 75 years "Dot". He was proceeded in death by his sister Muriel Dunn Thimsen and his parents, Clarence Sr and Isabel F. Gibbs Dunn. We are thankful for his heart for his family, for his steadfast faith in Jesus and for passing along that competitive spirit when playing tennis, ping pong or any other sport or game until he was in his 90s. He lived and loved well, and we are blessed to have had him for all these years. Bud served as a member of the Signal Corps during World War II in Papua New Guinea. Afterwards, Bud worked for Northwestern Bell telephone company until it became US West in their security systems until his retirement in 1980. He was an always present husband and father that never wavered from his faith and his desire to see that faith be passed onto the next generations. We are blessed by this gift of love to our families and to those who come after them until we are all together again. He is survived by his daughter Sandy (Gary) Lostetter, son Greg (Julie) Dunn, 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, three nieces and their families. Thanks to the staff of Brookdale Senior Living and Brookdale Hospice for their care and kindness shown to Bud. Memorial service Friday June 14, 2019 2:00 PM at Wayzata Free Church, 705 Highway 101 North in Plymouth. Memorials preferred to the Billy Graham Foundation.
