Claude 'Bud' Stevens Obituary Claude W. "Bud" Stevens was born on January 6, 1935 in Minneapolis and passed away peacefully on June 28, 2024 with his surviving children at his side.
Claude had many roles, devoted son, beloved brother, nephew, Army veteran, brother-in-law, uncle, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He had a successful career in business, was an outdoorsman, trombone player, volunteer, served on several non-profit boards; was a great story and joke teller! He loved spending time with family, friends, and at his northwoods lake cabin.
In his 90 years, he was loved by so many who touched his life, and he made an impact on theirs! He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his daughters, Julie (John), Lisa, and his son, John (Heather); nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Rita Ann (Wallerius) Stevens, daughter, Jean, parents, Claude and Monica, sisters, Lois, Leone and Helen.
Life celebration gathering will be held Thursday, July 25th, 2024 at the Wayzata Country Club, 3-6pm, with a private family burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
