Cleyo Whalen Obituary Whalen, Cleyo Emilie (Nado) Age 73, of Mound, MN and Sarasota, FL, passed away at the Presbyterian Homes on Lake Minnetonka, Spring Park, MN on September 30, after a brief battle with cancer. Cleyo was preceded in death by her parents; George and Mable Nado. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years; Lawrence J. (Larry), son; Patrick of Hollywood, CA, sister; Sandra Neavin (Jerry) of West St. Paul, MN, brother; George Nado (Sylvia) of Pittsburg, TX, and brother-in-law; Richard Whalen of Brookings, SD. Cleyo was a talented stained glass artist, with a studio in her home, and a great cook and party hostess, both in Minnesota and in Florida. She was happiest when she was entertaining relatives and her many friends. Visitation 5-7PM on Wednesday, October 6 with a memorial service to follow at 7PM at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd. Private interment.
