Daniel Hart Obituary Hart, Daniel R. age 92 of Plymouth died September 6, 2022. Dan grew up in south Minneapolis and attended South High. After graduating in 1948 he served in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1949. He studied at the U of M where "Lefty" Dan Hart pitched for the Gophers baseball team. It was during this time he met and fell in love with Jeanette Richardson and they were married in 1953. Dan went on to study law at the U and after practicing law for a number of years was appointed as a judge in Hennepin County where he proudly served until his retirement. Shortly after his retirement Jeanette passed away. In 1995 Dan remarried to Irene Nienaber and was quickly adopted into her family and loved by her children and grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wives, Jeanette and Irene. Survived by his sons, Terry (Jane), Craig (Holly), Scott (Radka) and Brian; grandchildren, Jackson, Jarret, Mason, Tristan, Catherine, Skye, Keenan, Maya, and Grayson; great-granddaughter, Dorothy Mae. Dan loved life, being with family and friends, being outdoors and in his gardens. He lived a good and happy life and will be greatly missed. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2022 at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 East Wayzata Boulevard, Wayzata. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 13th, Assembly Area 2. Memorials may be directed to donors choice.
