Daniel Thompson Obituary Thompson, Daniel M. Went home to be with his Lord on August 11. Dan leaves his loving wife of 40 years, Rina; Children, Charlotte (Ryan) Morriss and Eric; Grandchildren, Abigail, Dominic, Ezekiel, and Lydia Morriss; Mother, Ruth; Brothers, David, and Donald (Kathy); Sisters, Julia (Jimmy) Taylor, and Patricia (David) Kirkham; and many Nieces and Nephews. In eternity, Dan joins his Father, Ishmael; Sisters-in-law, Nina Beth Nevins Thompson, and Judy Smith; and Brother-in-Law, Philip Smith. Dan was a Class of 72 Graduate from Blevins High School. After serving 7 years (1972-1979) in the US Army, Dan had a successful career in the Minneapolis area, before retiring from Walter G. Anderson Inc. in 2010. Dan lived well, worshipped regularly with Maple Plain Community Church, is greatly loved, and now rests peacefully with his Savior. Visitation will be on Monday, August 17, 2015 5-8 PM at David Lee Funeral Home in Wayzata. A service will be held at German Liberal Cemetery in Medina on Tuesday August 18, 2015 11:00 AM. A memorial service will also be held at Park Missionary Baptist Church in Prescott, AR on August 22 at 1 PM.
