Darlene Louise Schliemann, of Golden Valley, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Dar was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her love for her children and grandchildren was unwavering — they were truly the center of her world.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Chuck; her mother, Marie; her brothers, Marlin and Charles; her sister-in-law, Dart; and her mother-in-law, Florence, and father-in-law, Milburn.

Dar is survived by her children and grandchildren: Nicole; Chad (Carrie); Jacob; Jordyn; Evan; and Emma; her brothers and sister: Dick; Gary (Marlene); and Mary (David); along with many beloved nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.

A private service will be held to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Dar by spending time with those you love and by sharing a story in her memory.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
