Darlene Yount Obituary Darlene Juanita Yount (nee Shaw) age 98, of Minnetonka, MN. Darlene was born February 27, 1927 in Rock Falls, IL, She was baptized and received as Gods child on November 27, 1927. On December 18, 1948 she was united in Holy Matrimony with Robert Eugene Yount. On March 22, 1959 she was confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Darlene was a devoted, wife, mother and grandmother. Robert served many congregations in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and Darlene devotedly gave of her time to support him, especially in the visitation of the elderly and shut-in members of their various churches. Darlene was predeceased by her husband, Robert. She is survived by three children: Patricia (Mervin) Rocheleau, James (Alice) Yount and Allen (Nichole) Yount. She has 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters and numerous nephews and nieces. The Service of Christian Burial will be held at Glory of Christ Lutheran Church, Plymouth, MN on June 11, 2025, with visitation at 1:00 PM and service at 2:00 PM. Interment in Frt. Snelling Military Cemetery will be at a later date. Her confirmation verse is "Therefore having been justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."
