David Clinton Obituary Clinton, David Brownlee age 82 of Wayzata passed away August 15, 2018. Preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret Clinton. Survived by wife, Mary of 32 years; children, Lynne (Martin) Gardner, Steve (Martine) Clinton, Christine Clinton (Loring Catlin); stepson, Craig (Jennifer) Arndt; 8 grandchildren, Jennifer, John and Caroline Gardner, Annika and Sydney Clinton and Adaline, Eloise and Alex Catlin. Dave received a BA in Mathematics from Ripon College and a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from MIT. Upon graduation, Dave joined the Aerospace Division of G.E. in Philadelphia. Ten years later he returned to Minneapolis to start his own computer electronics company. Dave was a charter member in the construction of the Ridgedale YMCA. He served 2 four year terms on their Board of Directors followed by 3 years on the General Board of the Greater Minneapolis YMCA. Special thanks to the staff at NC Little Hospice and Methodist Hospice for their gifts of care and compassion. Memorial service 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Wayzata Community Church, 125 East Wayzata Boulevard, Wayzata with visitation one half hour prior to the service at church. Memorials may be directed to, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota or Wayzata Community Church Camp Scholarship Program.
