David Nelson Obituary Nelson, David E. 50, of Holmdel, NJ, passed away May 10, 2009. Beloved husband of Barbara and wonderful father to Jeff (18), Andrew (16) and Caitlin (13). Dave was a 20 year insurance industry veteran and has served as Bankers Life Senior Vice President, Sales and Distribution since 2007. He held an MBA in Accounting and a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of Arizona. He also had a Master of Science in Management from The American College. Dave was passionate about travel and fortunate enough to visit 98 countries. His favorite trips were spent traveling the world with his family. Dave will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of life and as a true friend to so many. Preceded in death by brother, Steve. Survived by parents, Don and Pat; and sister, Leslie (Tom); and 7 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16 at 2 pm at Minnetonka United Methodist Church, 17611 Lake Street Extension, Minnetonka. A Celebration of Life will be held at Bayview Event Center, 687 Excelsior Boulevard, Excelsior, MN following the church service.
