David Schroth Obituary David Schroth peacefully passed away at his home in Plymouth, MN on May 30, 2021. David was born on August 13, 1962, in Orange, California. He graduated from Santa Ana High School in 1980 and later attended UC Davis where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural and Managerial Economics in 1984. David had a life-long passion for cars. As a boy, he was often found in the garage helping his Dad tinker with the familys vehicles and as a young adult he spent countless hours restoring a BMW to mint condition. His knowledge and enthusiasm for cars led to an extensive and varied career in the automotive industry. Over the course of more than 30 years, David held positions with multiple OEMsas a skilled technical writer and trainer to countless industry professionals. David loved the outdoors and was fond of gardening, fishing, and camping. David was preceded in death by his loving parents, Martha & Harlan Schroth, and grandparents. He is survived by his sister, Mary Beth DeMott of Medina, MN and nephew, Andrew DeMott of Chanhassen, MN. Those blessed to know David are saddened by his sudden passing, but are forever grateful for his steady influence, strong character and genuine kindness. Services will be held at 11am on June 23, 2021 at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church in Plymouth, MN. In lieu of flowers, David would appreciate nothing more than to have something planted in his memory. His family would be grateful for any photos or remembrances you would like to share.
