Dean Myhran Obituary Myhran, Dean A. age 82 of Wayzata, died April 9, 2009. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dale Myhran. Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mavis; sons, Brooks and wife Libby, Erik and wife Teri, Anders and wife Lynn; grandchildren, Lindsay, Austin, Bennett, Blake, Chase, Sarah and Hartley; brothers- in-law, Arden and Stanley Anderson; sister-in-law, Nancy Myhran as well as numerous relatives and friends. Dean was born in Proctor, Minnesota in 1926, graduated from Proctor High School, served in the Pacific during World War II, and subsequently graduated from the University of Minnesota. Dean, Mavis and the boys moved from their beloved Duluth to Wayzata in 1969. Over the ensuing 40 years Dean and Mavis raised their three sons, welcomed seven grandchildren, embraced their daughters- in-law, and lived a full life. Funeral service 12:00 PM Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Wayzata Community Church, 125 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata. Visitation 5-8 PM Monday at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata.
