Debra Reiff Obituary Debra Reiff, age 57, of Excelsior, passed away peacefully on December 4th, 2017, after courageously battling years of breast cancer. She was born to the late Alvin and Mary Ann Hartman on November 12, 1960, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. After graduating from Palmer High School in 1979, Deb pursued a life filled with the richness of family and friends, inspiring people with her loving nature, open heart and wild spirit. Debs optimistic attitude, infectious laugh, and kindness made her the highlight of every party and her life was rife with every kind of friend. Outside of being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend, Deb filled her time organizing family gatherings and Bunco nights, biking the trails, participating in the church, and traveling to-and-from the lake house. She tackled an array of work, covering HR, accounting, real estate and more. Deb will be forever remembered for her love of boating, the Palmer basketball days, chatting into the the wee hours, her Zorro, and her always-smiling blue eyes. Above all else, she took great pride in being the worlds #1 mom and grandmother. She is survived by Jim Reiff, her loving husband of 39 years, three children: Jason (Melissa) Reiff of Maple Grove; Amy Reiff of Minneapolis; and Jennalee Reiff of Vancouver; and two grandchildren, Greta and Jacob Reiff. Deb is also survived by brothers Carl, Wayne (Charlene), Dennis, and Todd Hartman, and sister, Gloria Garton (Shane). Deb is preceded by her brother Keith and her parents Alvin and Mary Ann. Many nieces and nephews also held Deb in high esteem as a trusted confidant and a favorite aunt.
