Dennis Hogenson Obituary Hogenson, Dr. Dennis Larry 9/30/31 to 7/3/9. Age 77. We lovingly say good-bye to Dennis. He was preceded in death by parents Arthur & Ethel Hogenson. He is survived by loving wife Gayle Hogenson, sons Rev. John (Ruth Hogenson- Rutford) Hogenson, Matthew (Colleen) Hogenson, Chris (Katy) Nelson, & daughter Katie Gonzalez. Dennis was blessed with 12 grandchildren: Kelly Hogenson- Rutford, Jana & Kate Hogenson; Dennis & Matthew Hogenson, Cally, Ali & Ben Nelson, Christopher, Tyler, Carlee, & Lindsay Gonzalez. His surviving siblings include Eugene, Arthur (Donna) & Sharon Hogenson, and June (Charlie) Grams. Dennis was born in Cottonwood, MN, he served in the US Army at Fort Knox, Kentucky, he received his BA from U of MN, & masters degrees from U of MN, Mankato State University, & United Theological Seminary. He went on to receive PhD's from Michigan State University & Clayton University. Dennis was a gifted psychologist and worked for the Robbinsdale Schools and in private practice. Dennis was known for his sense of humor, his love of life, his generosity & for the wisdom & help he gave to others.
