Donald Erickson Obituary Erickson, Donald Selmer Was born in Marshall, MN to Selmer and Amanda (Stensrud) Erickson, the second of 11 children. Don graduated from Cottonwood High School in Minnesota. After graduation Don moved to Tacoma, Washington and became a goldsmith-jeweler. Don married Nancy L. Howard in 1967, there were no children. Nancy passed away in 2004 from cancer. In 2012 Don broke his ankle, was diagnosed with dementia and entered assisted living and memory care until his death on April 22, 2016. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, and a brother. He is survived by his brothers, Richard (Elaine), Milan, MN, Jerry (Bev), Big Lake, MN, Eric (Diane), Montrose, S.D., Ronald (Mary), Whoitmore Lake, MI, David (Helen) Coon Rapids, MN, and sisters, Gloria (Don) Okrina, Plymouth, MN, Carol (Marvin) Okrina, Sioux Falls, S.D., Joyce (Ron) Gregg, Cottonwood, MN, Karen (Mark) Dorshcner, Plymouth, MN; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Don will be on Saturday April 30, 10:30 AM with visitation at 10 AM at the David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E Wayzata Blvd in Wayzata. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Tacoma, Washington at at later date. Memorials preferred to Redeemer Lutheran School in Wayzata.
