Donald Nelson Obituary Age 89, of Minnetonka, passed away on November 17, 2018. Preceded in death by parents, Helmick and Olga Nelson; wife, Patricia, and sons, David and Steven. Don was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandpa. He was a big personality who loved to tease and laugh. He enjoyed his lifelong career in sales management in the packaging business, and cherished his time with friends on the tennis court. Survived by daughter, Leslie (Tom) Johnson, and grandchildren, Jeff, Andrew, Lindy, Tori, Lexy, Bella, Lindsey and Ben: daughters-in-law, Barbara Nelson and Diana Nelson. Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 26, at 11:00 am, at Minnetonka United Methodist Church, 17611 Lake Street Extention, Minnetonka, Mn 55345. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Minnetonka Tennis Club- Nelson Fund, or The Glenn Minnetonka, for memory care music therapy.
