Donald Persian Obituary Persian, Donald B. Perk Age 79, of Wayzata, MN. Our Steel Marshmallow"". Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Son, Uncle and Friend. Preceded in death by parents, Benjamin and Dora. He leaves behind his loving wife of 49 years, Mary Lou; children, Michael (Shawn), Debra Hrebal, Steve (Kathleen), and Beth O'Connor (Terry). Adored by nine grandchildren and one great- grandchild; sisters, Betty Baer (Bill), Lila Lanars (Ivan), and many nieces and nephews. Don came to Wayzata with his family in 1935. He was a 32 year member of the Wayzata Fire Dept. He spent his career at Super Valu's corporate office, retiring after 38 years. After his retirement, Don so enjoyed making the deliveries for Quadent Dental Labs. He was an avid golfer, hunter, fisherman, and overall sports enthusiast. He was a 1946 graduate of Wayzata High School, and served his country in the years following World War II. His family meant the world to him, he meant the world to his family. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 11 AM at The Church of St. Bartholomew, 630 E. Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata. Visitation Tuesday (TONIGHT) 5-8 PM at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E.
