Donald Tymchuck Obituary Tymchuck, Donald L. age 66, of Mtka., passed away Nov. 6, 2012 after an 11-year battle with cancer. He was a wonderful husband, father, grand-father and friend. Preceded in death by his father. Survived by wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Chris and Katherine; son, Robert; granddaughter, Athena; mother, Georgianna; sister, Anita; many other relative and friends. He will be remembered for his optimistic, never-be-defeated attitude. Community involvement included many years service as an usher to St. Bart's of Wayzata and 12 years with the Boy Scouts of America. Providing good tasting foods for people with special dietary needs was his life's passion. He served as the science advisor/author of the National Dysphagia diet and received the Golden Apple award from the MN Dietetic Assn. His spirit lives in the hearts of those who knew him. Visitation Friday, November 9, from 5-7 PM at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 East Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, November 10, 2 PM with visitation 1 hour before at The Church of St. Bartholomew, 630 East Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata. Interment at the Resurrection Cemetery in Shorewood.
