Donna Mae
Weibel
Jan 27, 1933 — Jun 5, 2026
Wayzata, Minnesota
Donna Weibel, age 93, of Wayzata, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026 surrounded by family.
Born January 27, 1933, Donna grew up in Dawson, Minnesota, and graduated from Dawson High School. She later earned a degree in Education from the University of Minnesota.
Donna worked as a Kindergarten teacher in Minnesota and later became a flight attendant for TWA.
In 1960, she married her beloved husband, Dean, and together they raised four children in a home grounded in faith and love. Donna will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
A faithful servant of Christ, Donna lived with a quiet confidence in the promises of Jesus that guided her family in their walk with the Lord. Through her gentle spirit, steady faith, and care for others, she reflected Christ’s love in everyday life.
Donna is survived by her husband, Dean; children Kim, Mike, Mark, and Paul; sister Carol; and seven grandchildren: Alex, Sarah, Nichi, Ben, Megan, Luke, and Sophia.
We are grateful God blessed us with Donna for so many years and take comfort in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
A funeral service and celebration of Donna’s life will be held on June 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Glory of Christ Lutheran Church in Plymouth, MN
Donna (nee Welch) Weibel was and is the "Love of my Life" (I fell in love with her in 10 minutes)
We lived in holy matrimony for 67 years until she was taken from us all after 10 years of mounting suffering from Parkinson's. She remained strong in courage and thoughtfulness.
Through all of our adventures together she was ever faithful and encouraging and always full of joy.
We have been given four marvelous children, a daughter and three sons. All loving and in the faith. And seven delightful mostly grown grandchildren, also all faithful christians. What a blessing many fold.
We are a functional family in love and faithfulness. Thanks be to God!
We will all greatly miss Donna (her name means "Noble Lady"), but look forward to being together again.
In Christ Jesus, Amen!
Your Husband, Dean
