Doris Lund Obituary Lund, Doris E. (Johnson) age 91 of Alexandria passed away peacefully January 16, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by her husband Duane O. Lund; parents, Hjalmer and Hannah Johnson; son-in-laws, Kern Teske and Donald Lorenz; sister, Hazel Hillesheim; brothers, Gordon and Donald Johnson. Survived by her daughters, Debra Kane (Daniel), Denise Teske and Dawn Lorenz; grandchildren, Jessica Brown (Steve), Brooke Johnson (Travis) and Sean Kane (Morgan); great-grandchildren, Karaghan and Karston Brown, Aubrey and Joslyn Johnson; sister, Leona Galaziewski. Doris was born February 24, 1929 in Spruce Hill, Minnesota and graduated from Alexandria High School. She met Duane roller skating at age 13, she knew then he would be her husband. They married August 20, 1949 and raised their family in Robbinsdale until their retirement when the moved to their lake home on Carlos. They enjoyed winters in Texas. She was a loving mother and excellent homemaker known for making the best chili, spaghetti, pancakes and her awesome caramel rolls. Doris was a lifetime member of the Womens Auxiliary in Alexandria. Private burial will be held at Spruce Hill Church, Spruce Hill, Minnesota.
