Dororthy Stein Obituary Stein, Dorothy Evelyn age 86, of Wayzata, MN, passed away on April 29, 2008 surrounded by her family. She had recently fallen resulting in several fractures and a heart attack. Having lost her beloved husband, Victor, in January 2008, after 64 years of marriage, she now joins him in heaven to be with our Lord. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed and in our hearts forever. She is survived by her children, Victor (Kathy) Stein Jr. of Brooklyn Park, Jenifer (Michael) Fortin of Littleton, CO, Mary (Armand) Brachman of Long Lake, Richard (Martha) Stein of Hopkins, Joseph (Nancy) Stein of Plymouth, and Michael Stein of Chaska; grandchildren, Lisa, Kate, Eric, Kristen and Mikayla; great- grandchildren, Jacob, Hayden, Gabe, Zoe and Haley. Dorothy met her husband, Victor, at Vocational High School in Minneapolis while working as editors of the school yearbook. After their marriage in 1943, Dorothy worked side by side with Victor to establish their first printing business. Along with raising six children at End-o-West Farm in Hamel, MN, she continued to work with him until Victor's retirement in 1998. Some of her happiest times were spent with family and friends at their home in Ucross, WY and visits to Captiva Island, FL. Dorothy was very proud of her family and cherished her time with them.
