Dorothy Bergeson Obituary Dorothy Marie Sturm was born on August 25, 1930 in Ada, MN to Roy and Marie Sturm, the youngest of four children. The family later moved to Willmar, MN where Dorothy met and married Earl M. Bergeson in March of 1950. They were happily married for 53 years and raised four children together. Dorothy passed away on Thursday, November 1st surrounded by her loving family. Her parents, her brother Chester (Alda) Sturm, son-in-law, Dale Boyle, brother-in-law, Ralph Throckmorton, granddaughters, Rachel and Mikayla Bergeson and her husband Earl precede Dorothy in death. She is survived by her sister, Della Throckmorton, her brother, Willfred (Joyce)- Sturm, her son Jim Bergeson (Twilah), daughter Joan Boyle, daughter Cathy Finnet and son, Jeff Bergeson (Jona). Eight loving grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren also survive her. A celebration of Dorothys life and deep faith in God will begin with a gathering of family and friends at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata, Wednesday Nov. 7th, 5:30 to 7:30 pm and a Christian service at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 115 Wayzata Blvd. W., Wayzata, on Thursday, Nov. 8th at 10:30 am with visitation one hour prior to service at church.
