Dorothy Johnson Obituary Biography Johnson, Dorothy Elaine, Dorothy Elaine Anderson was born in Wahpeton, ND May 19, 1939. Graduate of Wahpeton High School in 1957 and Concordia College, Moorhead, MN in 1961. She married Richard I. Johnson June 4, 1961. Dorothy taught at several locations in the upper Midwest. Member of St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church. She was active in music and volunteer activities in the church and community. Survived by husband, Richard Johnson; daughters, Beth Chalmers, Mara Widmann (Jonathan), Sara Ryon (George); grandchildren, Darby, Tate and Finn Chalmers, Jonah, Adam and Soren Widmann, Kayla Ryon; great-grandson, Clayton Ryon; sister, Leatrice Hinz (Paul). Memorial service 2 PM Sunday, March 29, 2015 at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 County Road 6, Plymouth with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Interment Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Edinburg, North Dakota.
