Douglas Paulson Obituary
Douglas Paulson, 75, a resident of Gassville, Arkansas passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010, at the Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was born September 6, 1935, in Hettinger, North Dakota to Dean and Gladys Paulson. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served from 1954 to 1958. Doug owned Lakeview Heating and Air Conditioning Company in Hopkins, Minnesota for 30 years. Doug and his wife, Carol moved to Mountain Home in 2004 from Plymouth, Minnesota. He attended the Twin Lakes Baptist Church and was a member of the American Legion Alley-White Post 52 and The Elks Lodge 1714 of Mountain Home. He volunteered as a shuttle driver at Baxter Regional Medical Center and assisted with maintenance at the Serenity House. Doug also was a very accomplished woodworker using his own designs. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Carol Paulson; a son, Bradley Paulson of Howard Lake, Minnesota; a daughter, Stacey (Dan) Paulson of Memphis, Tennessee; a brother, Eldon Paulson; two sisters, Donna and Arlys; seven grandchildren, Rachel, Trisha, Jessica, Alexander, Cassidy, Nathan and Emily and many relatives and friends.Memorial visitaton 2-6 PM Sunday, October 24, 2010 with prayer service at 4 PM at David Lee Funeral Home 1220 East Wayzata Boulevard, Wayzata.
